The Dodge SRT Hellcat sounds great and does awesome burnouts but the traction control is basically useless as is evident in this vid..

204mph is a governed if not a very conservative top speed. It can actually do better. And yes the Challenger Hellcat (which is supposed to go 199mph) is also actually a 200mph car. The Challenger Hellcat can hit 205+ unrestricted like the Audi R8 V10+ and the Charger Hellcat can hit 217+ unrestricted like the Lamborghini Aventador.

170-200 mph: 10.8 secs
200-240 km/h: 3.6 secs

It's stock, I'm not kidding. It topped 204 mph on a Mexican highway.

The Sachsenring track time seems wrong and way too high. The similar performance Challenger hellcat makes it in 1:38.92

Ok, since the 3.4 (C&D) 0-60 won't go through, I'll use the 3.7 claim by SRT, which is also mentioned by M/T.

Would you guys choose this, the Cadillac CTS-V, or the Mercury Marauder Kenny Brown S?

Write 😠for FCA, 😉 for GM, and 😊 for FMC.

@BR2+

The reason is that if they don't do it for other cars, they shouldn't do it for cars just to help that particular car get a better result.

Every legit magazine that I know of has standard testing procedures for 1/4 mile and they all test at recommended tire pressure. Owners will obviously fiddle with tire pressures which is 1 reason why owners can beat magazine times in the 1/4 mile.

Lap-times are different since changing tire pressures happens when magazines test cars at the track.

It wasn't in a comparison, So what's the difference?

As a muscle car fan, I think (not trying to be biased, but) the Hellcat is dope, beautiful and fast, and powerful! Both this Charger and the Challenger. I mean 204 mph and 707 hp, that means screw you, Cadillac with the CTS-V!

Either way, driving a Hellcat or CTS-V or the upcomingish Ford Taurus RS (look it up on Google) is like dating a hot cheerleader from school!

Yeah,
1: Raw Power
2: Who gives a shite how much power you can squeeze out of the tiniest engine
3: That awesome factor
4: Affordable
5; Tyre melting asphalt tearing fun

So what if they dont handle like a precision 911, What are you more likely to encounter, A race track or a stop light?

NOBODY buys a car like this, Or cars like these for those reasons, And that is why i Love American performance cars.
